Friday, December 14, 2018- A police officer and driver attached toInspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet is reported to have committed suicide while on sick leave.

The driver identified as Anthony Lemayan Lenkisol shot himself dead at Mwamba estate in Narok town on December 9, 2018.

According to investigations, Lemayan used his Jericho short gun to shoot himself on the head.

Detectives probing the matter claimed that they had no idea why the deceased was allowed to carry a pistol with him while on sick leave.

Cases of police officers committing suicide are on the rise and recently the National Police Service Commission (NPSC) formed the Counseling unit to help stem the worrying trend.

The commission has established the National Police Service Counselling and Rehabilitation Centre to assist the service in addressing psycho-social stress-related problems affecting the officers,” a statement read.

However, the family of the deceased has called for thorough investigations and is not quick to rule it a suicide case.

Friday, December 14, 2018-Embattled former Senator, Joy Gwendo, who is cooling her heels in Lang’ata Women’s prison after she was jailed for two years, may have opened her servers to Former TNA Secretary General, Onyango Oloo, landing a Nomination to the Senate through Jubilee.

Kenyan DAILY POST has learnt that Oloo met Joy Gwendo in 2013 when she was working at Ramogi FM and changed her fortunes.

She left her job at the vernacular radio station where she was earning less than Ksh 100,000 and joined President Uhuru Kenyatta’s campaign team.

After Uhuru successfully clinched the seat, Oloo, who is alleged to have licked Joy’s  honey pot, helped her get a nomination to the Senate.

A source close to the former Senator revealed that she dumped her husband after she was nominated to the Senate.

She moved from their rented apartment near Kibera slums and started living in the leafy suburbs and started throwing money around in high end entertainment joints.

The former controversial Senator is a randy woman whose appetite for sex is known in the political circles.

She is one of the female politicians who utilized the gold-mine that is in between her  legs to climb up the political ladder and get other favours.

Friday, December 14, 2018- There was drama in Wanyororo cemetery in Bahati, Nakuru County on Thursday after a distraught widowstaged a protest in her husband’s grave following the release of suspect linked to his murder from police custody.

The deceased, 33 year-old Edward Mwangi was found dead in a farm in Wanyororo B area in Bahati after being stabbed eight times on December 3, 2018.

The main suspect is said to have surrendered himself to the police and also presented a knife he used to kill the deceased.

Mr. Mwangi’s family claims the suspect was released the same day.

His widow, Mary Wangari led a group of friends and relatives in demanding the arrest of the suspect before the burial could proceed as they vowed that no burial will take place until the suspect is arraigned in court.

“We will not allow the funeral to take place until we get an explanation why the main suspect was released,” said the widow.

“We want justice for Mwangi. Burying him while his murderer is walking free is denying justice to the immediate family of the deceased,” said Charles Mucheru, a cousin to the deceased.

However, the deceased’s father Daniel Mwea lost his cool and ordered his other relatives to carry the casket to the grave and have his son buried by force.

After brief confrontation between the two groups, order was restored the deceased was hurriedly buried.

Friday, December 14, 2018-Former nominated Senator, Joy Gwendo, wasted her fortunes like a fool by living an extra-vagant life when she was nominated to the Senate after having sex with former TNA secretary general, Onyango Oloo.

The curvy and fiery politician from the lake-side would throw money around without thinking about tomorrow.

Her favourite entertainment joint was 1824 Club in Lang’ata where she partied daily, sipping expensive drinks and showing off real money.

We understand that she had a special table set for her and any-time she entered the popular entertainment joint, business would almost come to a standstill.

She loved live music and any-time Congolese Rhumba musicians took the stage, she would tip them generously as she swayed her voluptuous hips on the danceflooor.

Joy also tipped off waiters at the club handsomely and they  returned the favour by setting a special table for her.

“Her table was always full of independent women quaffing whiskey. They were tough  bunch. No man could approach their table.”A man who once faced the wrath of Joy’s female friends after he tried to seduce one of them said.

Joy’s flashy life changed after her five year stint as a nominated Senator ended in 2017.

She started being a fraudster and begging for hand-outs from fellow politicians.

She contested for Kisumu East Parliamentary seat during Last Year’s election and lost.

The once boisterous Senator will be cooling her heels at Lang’ata Women  prison for two and a half  years after she pleaded guilty to charges of fraud and abuse of office.

She had entered a plea bargain with the State which she failed to honour.

Chief Magistrate Douglas Ogoti found her dishonest and jailed her for two and a half years without the option of a fine for hoodwinking the court.

Friday, December 14, 2018 - Google has been forced to explain why searching the word ‘idiot’ on the giant search engine shows images of US President Donald Trump.

Appearing before the US House Judiciary Committee, Google Chief Executive, Sundar Pichai, explained the scenario after being put on the spot by California Representative Zoe Lofgren.

“Right now, if you Google the word ‘idiot’ under images, a picture of Donald Trump comes up. I just did that,” she notes. “How would that happen?”

In response, the Google CEO said Google’s search results are not politically biased stating that the company doesn’t “manually intervene” in search results

“We provide search today for any time you type in a keyword. We, as Google, have gone out and crawled and stored copies of billions of their pages in our index, and we take the keyword and match it against the pages and rank them based on over 200 signals,” Pichai said.

“Things like relevance, freshness, popularity, how other people are using it. And based on that, you know, at any given time, we try to find the best results for that query,” he adds.

If you're dating a Luhya and Kikuyu lady and you're spoilt for choice on who to tie the knot with, please grab the Luhya lady with that thing Trump talked about asap.

Talking from experience, a muthamaki will cook for you spaghetti, cabbages and rice for supper.

I mean, who does that to a man?

And when you get to bed, she'll boldly tell you, "shomerea".

Where will you get the energy to shomerea?

A Luhya will knead ugali bigger than Raila's dream served with a naked chicken.

Sweetheart will then slap the delicacy on the table.

As she walks from the kitchen to the dinning room, you'll feel some slight earthquake.

That earthquake is caused by the vibration of the weight behind her.

After hammering ugali and chicken, you have a job to do the whole night.

Have you ever worked in a quarry?

If you haven't don't even try Luhya ladies at home.

Friday, December 14, 2018 - The High Court in Nairobi awarded self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) General, Miguna Miguna, Ksh 7 million on Friday over the continued violation of his rights

The court also awarded Miguna Sh270, 000 over the destruction of his house in Runda.

Interior Cabinet Secretary, Dr. Fred Matiang’i, and PS Gordon Kihalangwa have been ordered to shoulder the costs from their pockets in order to ‘deter violation by overzealous State officers’ in future.

While making the ruling, Justice Chacha Mwita stated that Miguna is a Kenyan Citizen by birth and therefore he could not lose Kenyan citizenship when he acquired Canadian citizenship.

Miguna was deported in March after the State claimed that the vocal lawyer lost his Kenyan citizenship when he acquired a Canadian passport at a time the Kenyan constitution did not provide for dual citizenship.

Reacting to the ruling, Miguna wrote this on Twitter.
