Wednesday, December 19, 2018- The new police uniform has divided opinion among Kenyans and it appears even some police officers are not looking forward to wear the royal blue regalia.
Celebrity cop Emma Wanjiru has voiced her disgust at the new look uniform after she took to Instagram to rejoice following the news that police may wait longer to get the new uniform due to shortage of the fabric and in-fighting between tender-preneurs keen to make a killing from its supply.
“I was looking forward to wear[sic] the new uniform this Christmas but wait who am I kidding
.” She joked sarcastically over the news of the delayed roll out of the uniform.
When President Uhuru unveiled the uniforms in September, the cop also took to Instagram to express her reservations.
She wrote: “Uuuummmm isorait. Change is inevitable. Nitajikaza tu #borauhai.”

Wednesday, December 19, 2018 - Outspoken Wajir Women Rep, Fatuma Gedi, is allegedly caught up in sex scandal after a video of her being banged hard by a popular Jubilee politician from Rift Valley leaked.
In the alleged video that is spreading like bushfire in Kenya's social media space, the vocal Women Rep is seen lifting her legs up as a the popular MP pumps in like no one’s business.
She moans like a virgin as the sexually energized MP gives her good strokes.
The youthful MP who is allegedly caught up in the sex scandal with Fatuma Gedi is very vocal in maize matters.
He doesn’t see eye to eye with Deputy President William Ruto and he almost lost his seat but he managed to bounce back.

Thursday December 20, 2018-Deputy President William Ruto has vowed to personally fire a police officer who failed to deal with a defilement case that was reported in Kilifi earlier in December.
Speaking during a fundraising and the issuance of 800 title deeds at Mapimo grounds Gongoni in Magarini yesterday, a tough-talking Ruto stated that officers who engaged in corruption when dealing with defilement cases would be dismissed.
“It’s an abuse of office and totally unacceptable.”
“I would like to know the officer who failed to take action in a defilement case and I will take action and sack him tomorrow,” said Ruto.
He noted that inaction by law enforcers were a contributing factor to a surge of teen pregnancies in the county and promised to make an example out of those not doing their job.
"Any officer who will get information of defilement and fail to take action should get prepared to go home, whether it’s an assistant chief or police if you cannot protect the minors you have no business in the office,’’ he stated.
Thursday December 20, 2018-A Makueni court has found the former bodyguard of Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jr. guilty of shooting into a crowd and injuring one person.
While delivering judgement yesterday, Makueni Senior Principal Magistrate, James Mwaniki,convicted Shadrack Kioko Malekya, an administration police officer, for shooting into the crowd and injuring Mr. Brian Mutua, an assembly orderly, during a 2014 scuffle that occurred at the Makueni County Assembly premises.
The court heard that the bodyguard shot Mutua at a close range, evidence that made the judge single him out.
The judge ruled that Kioko could not justify the use of a firearm during the incident where he injured the orderly on his stomach
However, three of the co-accused were lucky to be released with the judge finding that they were justified to use their weapons as the crowd which had accompanied Governor Kivutha Kibwana posed a threat to the legislators.
Thursday December 20, 2018-Deputy President William Ruto now is on the verge of losing his multi-billion Weston Hotel that has been shrouded in controversies as the National Land Commission sits today to give its final verdict on the land that was allegedly grabbed.
Already, a draft report has been prepared recommending that title for Weston Hotel be revoked and land reverted to its rightful owner-Kenya Civil Aviation Authority.
NLC will be meeting to adopt the report or reject it, but according to sources, the commission is likely to adopt the report.
This means Ruto is likely to lose his hotel which he built on grabbed KCAA land.
“The fact is that the land belongs to KCAA.”
“That is what we established.”
“But let’s wait for the commission meeting on Thursday,” a senior official of NLC revealed yesterday.
NLC Vice Chair Abigail Mbagaya
declined to comment on the matter, telling Kenyans to be patient and wait for the commission’s verdict today.
“When a decision is made, we shall make it public. Be patient,” she said.
Thursday, December 20, 2018- Celebrated media personality Betty Kyallo has excited netizens with her reply to a fan who referred to her as ‘Dennis Okari’s woman.
Betty was married to the NTV journalist but their marriage hit and a dead end leading to a messy divorce.
Since then, Betty has kept her private life out of the limelight while Okari is reported to have married again.
It all started when the bubbly news anchor, who once had an affair with flamboyant Mombasa County Governor Hassan Joho, shared a photo of herself on Instagram with the caption:

She reacted to the comment sarcastically claiming she belongs to Jesus.

Thursday December 20, 2018-The County Assemblies Forum has told off Opposition leader, Raila Odinga, over his evil proposal that the number of Members of the County Assembly be reduced to guarantee success of devolution.
Led by Forum Chairman John Osoi, the MCAs criticised Raila’s sentiments, saying the country could afford to sustain the ward representatives.
“I would like to respectfully correct Baba that 1,450 electoral wards are the lowest we can get,” Osoi told Raila.
Osoi was reacting to Raila Odinga’s sentiments on Sunday where he argued that the huge number of MCAs was a burden to taxpayers because it led to a huge wage bill.
According to Raila, referendum was eminent to allow the public choose the number of MCAs to represent them, adding that a majority were not performing their duties effectively.
Nairobi County Assembly Majority Leader, Abdi Guyo, observed that the country ought to either abolish the Senate or the County Assemblies in their entirety.
