Wednesday, January 2, 2019-Kenyans flocked Uhuru Gardens on 31stto usher in the New Year in a concert headlined by top artists from Diamond’s Wasafi Record Label , which was totally sold out.
When one of Wasafi’s artists by the name Lavalava took to the stage, ladies went nuts and nearly caused stampede as they struggled to touch his cassava.
It’s not clear what is so special with Lavalava’s manhood that got them so excited.

Wednesday, January 2, 2019-A pastor nearly lost his life after he was bitten by a snake while trying to perform a miracle.
The pastor wanted to show the congregation that he can handle a snake through God’s power without being harmed but things went south.
The snake bit him near his face and embarrassed him infront of the congregation.
The pastor had to be rushed to the hospital after he started vomiting and gasping for air due to the snake bite.

Besieged Nairobi Lawyer Tom Ojienda has now come under the spotlight as some female students threaten to expose the top lawyer over what they allege as sex-for-marks, a toxic practice in many Kenyan universities.
Ojienda, a “top’ lawyer, that former Nairobi governor Evans Kidero usually uses to launder and clean his ill-gotten money, has gotten himself in the wrong side of law over tax fraud, money laundering and fraud. Ojienda also teaches law in various universities where he has perfected his art for sex-for-marks. A few senior lawyers that didn’t want to be quoted don’t have respect for Ojienda over his bad reputations.
A cunning fella, Ojienda realized that the only way to stay afloat and get votes is through starting a mentorship programme, that he allegedly uses to mentor young lawyers who actually vote for him because they are the majority. Wednesday, January 02, 2019- A priest who was accused of having sex with school girls and married women in Githunguri, Kiambu County mid last year has been suspended.
The Nairobi Catholic Archdiocese suspended the randy priest who has since left John Paul II, a Catholic institution in Murang’a where he had been banished, until the outcome of the investigation is vetted and a verdict made at the Vatican in Rome.
John Cardinal Njue had formed a tribunal to investigate the youthful priest whose report has been forwarded to the Vatican.
The randy priest is accused of luring school girls to his residence where alcohol flowed like a river for sexy orgies.
When some of the girls got pregnant, the priest helped them procure abortions.
When his amorous behavior came to light in September last year, Cardinal Njue, who is also the Archbishop of the Nairobi Archdiocese, announced his suspension.
The priest whose name has been withheld had been only five years into the ‘calling’

Wednesday January 2, 2019-Nominated Senator, Millicent Omanga, has accused Jubilee Party chairman, Raphael Tuju, of disrespecting Deputy President William Ruto for claiming that the party has no preferred presidential candidate in 2022.
In an interview with Citizen TV on Sunday, Tuju, who is also a Cabinet Secretary without portfolio said Ruto is not an automatic candidate for Jubilee in 2022.
According to Tuju, choice of candidate is governed by the party’s constitution which makes no mention of an automatic presidential ticket.
Commenting on Tuju’s remarks, Omanga said the CS is among selfish leaders in Jubilee who are planning to derail Ruto’s presidential bid in 2022.
"Ruto is the next candidate to vie for Presidency on the Jubilee party ticket in 2022 once President Uhuru Kenyatta retires. People like Tuju have misplaced minds claiming that the party won't guarantee Ruto a direct ticket," Omanga said.
She said Ruto will be the party's flag bearer since it is a deal they made with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"No one is going to change what DP Ruto agreed with his boss. Some forces within the party will not succeed in subdividing the unity," she noted.

Wednesday January 2, 2019-Renowned political analyst, Prof Herman Manyora, has revealed the identity of power brokers who sent former Gatanga MP, David Murathe, to speak ill against Deputy President William Ruto's Presidential bid in 2022.
On Wednesday last week, Murathe who was speaking during Maragoli Cultural Festival in Mbale, Vihiga County, said Ruto is not the automatic presidential candidate for Jubilee Party in 2022.
Murathe‘s remarks generated a political storm within Jubilee, with many leaders castigating him for making unsavory remarks against the DP.
Now commenting on social media, Tuesday, Prof Manyora said Ruto should be very worried about the remarks as it is just a slight revelation of what awaits him in 2022.
He said that they are most likely coming from more powerful individuals opposed to his bid and who are using Murathe as their mouthpiece.
"Ruto should know that this is not Murathe speaking, he is speaking on behalf of powerful forces, round and about and its all about 2022," Manyora stated.
He observed that the DP will most likely succumb to what seems to be coming his way should he put up a fight, noting that he should instead play along and retaliate gradually.
"Ruto, whatever is happening behind the scenes which is now coming out is most likely to finish you, let them have their way and be a trojan horse," he said.

Wednesday January 2, 2019-A section of Kikuyu community leaders have urged Central Kenya leaders to stop premature campaigns and focus on development.
Speaking in Nyeri on Tuesday, the leaders led by Kikuyu Council of Elders chairman, Wachira Kago, said the community will lag behind if leaders continue campaigning for 2022 Presidential election.
Regarding the remarks made by Jubilee Party Vice Chairman, David Murathe,Kago said the community is yet to identify a candidate whom it will support for presidency once President Uhuru Kenyatta’s retires in 2022.
Last week, Murathe, who was speaking in Mbale, Vihiga county, said Mt Kenya region will not support Deputy President William Ruto‘s Presidential bid in 2022.
Murathe, who is a close ally of President Uhuru Kenyatta, said Ruto has served his term and should prepare to exit in 2022.
Following his remarks, Kago said the community is yet to identify the candidate to support and said when that time comes, the leaders will announce the candidate.
“We don’t want early campaigns since we are yet to announce our candidate. When the right time comes we will announce,” Kago said.
Nyeri Governor, Mutahi Kahiga also supported Kago’s sentiments and said the community is yet to decide on whom to support for presidency in 2022.

Wednesday, January 02, 2019- Former Kiambu governor, William Kabogo, has lashed out at controversial Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria, over his attack on President Uhuru.
During New Year’s Eve, the vocal legislator launched an onslaught against President Uhuru accusing him of neglecting Central Kenya residents.
From the video that has been circulated widely on social media, Kuria, who was high as a kite, accused the President of using Kikuyus as ‘voting robots’
“Ii mambo kazi yetu ni kupiga kura na baada ya kupiga kura maendeleo tunapeana kwingine. Io ujinga tuache. Kufungua maji kwingine, kufungua barabara kwingine, kufungua stima kwingine,” (We cannot be voting politicians into power and they take development projects elsewhere. We should stop that nonsense. Water, roads and electricity projects are opened in other areas.) Kuria fumed.
Reacting to the video, Kabogo hit out at Kuria for disrespecting the president.
Taking to twitter, Kabogo wrote:
“How can Moses Kuria say that HE UK should wacha ujinga. Shame on him!”

Wednesday, January 2, 2019-A nurse at Nairobi South Hospital was attacked and injured by a Somali couple after they engaged in a scuffle.
According to well placed sources, the nurse who is identified as, Pauline, was attacked by the couple after she refused to discharge their child without settling the bill incurred for the days spent at the hospital.
The couple rained kicks and blows on the nurse when a confrontation ensued, demanding for the release of their child.
It’s also reported that they were in possession of a sword.

Wednesday January 2, 2019-Nandi Senator, Samson Cherargei, has accused Nyeri Town MP, Ngujiri Wambugu, as being among leaders who are campaigning against Deputy President William Ruto’s Presidential bid in 2022.
According to Jubilee Party lineup, Ruto is the apparent heir of President Uhuru Kenyatta once he retires in 2022.
But recent political statements made by some leaders from Mt Kenya region have put Ruto’s ambitions in tatters.
One of the leaders who let the cat out of bag is former Gatanga MP, David Murathe, who said Mt Kenya region had no Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with anybody in regards to 2022 presidential election.
Though some leaders castigated Murathe for his remarks, Ngunjiri supported his remarks and said Murathe has freedom of stating the truth.
However in a Facebook post, Tuesday, Cherargei accused Ngunjiri of being against DP Ruto’s presidency bid and accused him of still being part of ODM.
“Wambugu, your mantra is fear mongering, you insist on this narrative to fulfill your devilish agenda. We know you and your ilk who you are their face .No one owes anyone anything so stop your imagination, you still smell ODM where. We understand where you come from. Utajua haujui,” he wrote.
Ngunjiri responded saying Kalenjin leaders are scared and are now threatening people with post-election violence.
“The associates of the leaders from Rift Valley who left ODM are the ones fear-mongering and beating the drums of war about possible violence, again in Rift Valley, if they lose in 2022,” Wambugu said.

Wednesday, January 2, 2019-A beautiful South African lady identified as, Saidy Brown, has been inspiring HIV patients and fighting hard to end stigma associated with the deadly virus.
Saidy, who was born with HIV, found out that she was infected with the virus when she was 14.
But despite her status, she is very cheerful about life, something that has made her a darling of many people.
In one of her posts on twitter, Saidy says that although she has been living with HIV ever since she was born, this won’t make her give up on life.
" HIV might have changed my life, but I never would allow have allowed it to limit me." she says.

Wednesday January 2, 2019-Jubilee Party Vice Chairman, David Murathe, has once again poured cold water on Deputy President William Ruto’s Presidential bid in 2022, saying he is not fit for presidency.
In an exclusive interview with one of the local dailies on Tuesday, Murathe, who is also the former Gatanga MP, said Ruto is a patented thief of public money and even he is given a chance to lead the country he will loot all the money.
“Huyu mtu ukimuachia dakika kidogo unaona kile anafanya. Sasa ukipatia yeye hii kiti si kutakuwa kubaya? (You can see what this man can do with the little time he has been given. It will be bad if he is given the seat),” Murathe said in a phone interview.
Murathe‘s remarks seemed to suggest that Jubilee was no longer keen on Ruto as President Uhuru Kenyatta’s successor.
However, some leaders led by Kirinyaga Governor, Anne Waiguru have called for the ousting of Murathe as Jubilee vice chair saying he is a divisive leader who should not hold such position.
But in a rejoinder, Murathe said he is not going anywhere until Jubilee Party elections are held in 2020.

Wednesday, January 2, 2019-Former Harambee Stars Captain and International striker, Dennis Oliech, will become the highest paid player in Kenya Premier League after signing a one year contract with Gor Mahia.
Oliech will be paid a monthly salary of Ksh 350,000 after signing a one year contract.
On top of that, he will also earn Ksh 3.5 Million as signing fee and it will be paid in two installments.
This first installment will be paid this month and the second installment is slated for next month.
Oliech will play his first game with Gor Mahia on January 9th when they play Posta Rangers.
Speaking to the press after signing the deal with Gor, Oliech said he is delighted and looks forward to give his best.
“I have trained twice with Gor Mahia and it turned out perfectly. I am happy that the coach has agreed to sign me and I promise to give him my best” He said.

Wednesday January 2, 2019-National Super Alliance (NASA) leader, Raila Odinga, has reportedly formed a formidable team as he continues to prepare for presidency in 2022.
Although the 73 -year old veteran politician has urged Kenyans to stop linking him to 2022 succession debate , sources close to him says the man has acquired a new team of advisers and has left out some of the seasoned and long-term trusted lieutenants such as Senator James Orengo.
For many years, Orengo was the chief legal and political adviser to Raila but the ODM leader left him out when he entered into negotiations within President Kenyatta.
In the last few months, Orengo has been watching Raila Odinga’s fierce political moves on TV like any other ordinary Kenyan.
To replace Orengo, Raila has been having many meetings with Jubilee Party Chairman, Raphael Tuju.
Tuju's palatial home is adjacent to Raila's home in Karen and sources said the two having been having many meetings since the time of handshake.
Raila, Tuju and Jubilee Party vice chairman, David Murathe, have been holding meetings and political pundits says this is the group that is ruining Deputy President William Ruto’s presidential ambitions in 2022.
Murathe and Tuju are close confidants of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Wednesday January 2,2019- Repentance and Holiness preacher, Prophet David Owuor, has been exposed as one of many fake pastors in Kenya, who are making millions by masquerading as men of God.
On Tuesday, during a 3-day crusade in Nakuru Town, the controversial preacher told his gullible followers that he was leaving for Mombasa to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The flamboyant preacher claimed the Head of State had invited him to State House, Mombasa, and had sent a chopper to pick him.
"Let me go, the president of the Republic of Kenya has sent me a helicopter," Owuor told his foolish supporters.
But according to renowned blogger, Robert Alai, Owuor lied to his supporters because the chopper was not sent by the President.
Alai claimed it is Owuor and his church who hired the chopper and it belongs to Leader of Majority in Parliament, Aden Duale.
Alai also castigated the fake preacher for dragging Uhuru's name into the saga with intention to deceive Kenyans that the Head of State is also his follower.
"This chopper registration 5Y-HNB is owned by @HonAdenDuale. The chopper was hired by Owuor’s church (Kings Outreach). President @UKenyatta’s name was being mentioned by conman Owuor to further brainwash his blind followers that Uhuru also worship him," Alai posted on Twitter, Wednesday.
