Tuesday, 16 September 2014 - Renowned fashionista, Orie Rogo Manduli, recently revealed how Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni, hates members of the Luo Community with a passion.


Orie claims that that back in 1985, she rented out a house to Museveni at her Riverside Drive apartments. By then, the Ugandan President was heading the rebel group, the National Resistance Movement, against Miltone Obote’s Government.


But Manduli will never f0rget one day when Museveni nearly shot her dead after learning that she was Luo.


“I remember when I first met him and introduced myself as a Luo, he looked a bit worried. He quickly reached for a pistol under his sofa. The gun was wrapped in a handkerchief. I explained  to him that Kenyan Luos took good care of their guests and that there was no cause for concern.” She recounted.


That’s when Museveni calmed down but warned her that if she tries something silly, she will be booking a direct ticket to death.


Orie reveals that the reason Museveni hates Luos with a passion is because he believes that his once political opponent, Milton Obote, was a Luo from Western Uganda.

Tuesday, 16 September 2014 - Comedian, Eric Omondi, is now in the long-list of Kenyans who have joined hands to console former KTN anchor, Esther Arunga,  at this trying time when she is facing a court battle after the controversial death of her three year old  son.


According to Eric, Esther shaped his career after she introduced him to legendary comedian, Churchill.


He described the former KTN screen-siren as a woman who loved God and cherished all people around her.


She was also a role model to young people and a supporter of young talents.

She also came to Daystar to speak to the students, she brought along with her Nimrod Taabu the first time and Jeff Koinange the second time...This was huge, she made me believe in myself.I know you are asking yourselves, what's the moral of this story. It was while I was performing at CINEMA at the former Galileo on museum hill that churchill officially saw my talent and Esther Arunga officially introduced me to the man who would take me and give me the biggest stage of my life, Churchill. God used her(Esther Arunga) to lead me to my destiny. 

I can confidently say I knew Esther Arunga, she was a friend and a mentor...A woman who loved God and cherished people around her...an encourager of talent and gifts a role model to the young (she won teeniz role model award that same year)...soft spoken, harmless, Joyful and cheerful. One thing happened followed by another and we soon lost hope and trust in Esther...but hope is never lost, we must hope against hope. Let's bring back our Esther, back to Kenya, back to her country, back to her HOME, back to her People, back to her family...even back to our Screens. I believe!!! We can!!! YES WE CAN!!!, bring back our girl.

CAROLINE MUTOKO to quit radio for being too old for her target audience.

Tuesday, 16 September 2014 – Whispers within entertainment circles have it that Kiss 100’s presenter, Caroline Mutoko, is set to resign from her job as a morning  show presenter, because she is too old for her target audience.


Apparently, she is finding it hard to satisfy the needs of her audience, most of who are young people.


The no-nonsense radio queen, who recently turned 42 years, is set to become the new Sponsorships, Marketing and Promotions Manager at Radio Africa but there are still internal wrangles since her fellow employees feel that she didn’t deserve the position.


They claim that she has been dishing her flesh to Radio Africa Group CEO, Patrick Quarcoo, and that’s why he promoted her without proper consultation.


They even fear that power will get over her head because she is known to be proud and arrogant.


It’s not yet clear on the person who will take over her radio role but Linda is the most probable figure.

  • Coordinate the development of standards for legal education and training in Kenya;

  • Oversee the implementation of a transparent system of accrediting legal education providers in Kenya;

  • Develop a framework for equation of foreign legal qualifications in Kenya;

  • Develop an information based monitoring system for adherence to set standards by legal education providers;

  • Coordinate the development of appropriate training programmes for legal training providers;

How exactly do they work?

They typically offer a victim a share of a large consignment of banknotes that have been stained black .The scammer then demonstrates how the notes can be recovered by cleaning a few with a "special chemical". The chemical quickly removes the black stain and a clean bank note is revealed.

He then explains to the victim that it was the only sample of the chemical he/they had, and that the victim needs to buy more to clean the notes. He may at this stage introduce a second contact who can supposedly supply the chemicals in the quantities required – At a price.

What he does not explain is that the trunk box full of black money is only cut-up black craft paper, not money at all. The victim will then be persuaded to pay more and more for nonexistent or useless chemicals. What's surprising/ intriguing is that they still get customers/ victims regularly.

The sequence of events in the scam;
