Tuesday, November 20, 2018 - KTN’s Senior Political affairs reporter, Ben Kitili, married his long-time Somali fiancé, Amina Mude, on Friday.

The two exchanged vows at the Attorney General’s office and later held a reception at the Panari Hotel.

Ben and Amina have been co-habiting for a while now and are blessed with a beautiful 4-year old daughter, Ruby Iman Nzembi Kitili.

However, the wedding that has been described as "cross-cultural and cross-religious" since the couple hail from different religions - Islam and Christianity - has not gone down well with a section of Kenyan Muslims.

From some social media posts we have sampled, a section of Muslims are up in arms after Amina married a non-muslim claiming that the Quran prohibits such unions and the hate Amina is getting is just ridiculous.

Tuesday, November 20, 2018 - This randy pastor was busted having sex with a married woman from his church and taught a lesson he will never forget.

From the video shared on social media, the pastor is seen wearing his underwear only as he’s being manhandled by two men.

The story accompanying the video indicates that Pastor known as Prophet Emmanuel Badu of Glorious Wave Chapel International was caught while he was trying to sleep with a lady in her room.

The lady took off leaving the randy pastor to face the music alone.

In his defence, the cornered pastor claimed that he was set up by the lady.

The incident happened in Ghana.

Ever since Maribe landed in trouble with the law after she was linked to the murder of the late businesswoman, Monica Kimani, Itumbi has been pretending to be so caring towards her, a move that has left tongues wagging and cast aspersions.

Tuesday November 20, 2018-Revered human rights crusader, Boniface Mwangi, has been appointed as the Ambassador of Africans Rising, a Pan-African movement of people and organisations, working for justice, peace and dignity.

Sharing the good news on social media on Tuesday, Mwangi said his first official assignments will be in Gambia and Tanzania.

 He will also visit Ghana and Nigeria before the year ends.

“I am excited to start my role as @AfricansRising's Ambassador. Heading to Gambia for my first assignment asAfricans Rising Ambassador. I will be in Tanzania in early December. Nigeria and Ghana see you mid Dec. I promise to continue shining a light on sufferingand injustice,” Mwangi wrote on Twitter.

 Here in Kenya, Mwangi is known as fearless crusader, who exposes all ills in the society.

 Last week, Mwangi who is the father of three, was detained and banned from attending the National Youth Service (NYS) pass out in Gilgil.

His phone was confiscated and the photos he had taken deleted from his device, despite presenting his media pass.

Tuesday, November 20, 2018- A son of Jubilee Governor is among top performers of the 2018 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations.

Hassan Wanini Mvurya, the son to Kwale Governor, Salim Mvurya, scored an impressive 440 marks out of a possible 500 to top the Coast region.

Hassan sat for his KCPE at Likunda Primary School in Ukunda.

The 2018 KCPE results were released on Monday by Education CS Amb. Amina Mohammed where Olive Wachiraof Riara Road Primary in Nairobi, and Rawlings Odhiambo from Hill School in Kakamega, emerged the top students with 453 marks.

Other top performers includeVictor Momanyi Mogusu (Emmanuel Springs Academy in Makueni) who scored 452, Leonard Asanga (Moi Primary School, Kabarak) who scored 451 and Ashley Wambui Mwangi (Kutus Municipality Primary school in Kirinyaga County) who scored 447 marks.

Form One selection will start on December 3rd.

Tuesday, November 20, 2018- Former Citizen TV news anchor, Joey Muthengi, recently claimed that she’s dating footballer, McDonald Mariga, who is based in Italy.

It all started after Joey and the Kenyan midfielder featured in a commercial for a Betting firm.

Their chemistry in the advert left tongues wagging with Joey fueling speculation after she revealed that she plans to move to Italy to stay with Mariga following her shocking resignation from Citizen TV.

“Mariga is a cool person and he and I are real friends. I am very fond of him. I will be moving to Italy in January and I guess time will tell what next,” she said when asked if they were dating.

However, a close relative of Mariga has urged the media personality to cease and stop claiming that she’s dating the footballer.

The relative also disclosed that Mariga is actually set to wed his long-time fiancée and mother of his daughter, a lady by the name Kenisha, sometime next year in Spain.

“We are tired of these slay queen girls trying to break up happy homes. I met him (Mariga) on his last holiday in July with the sister Cynthia, his wife-to-be Kenisha and kid in hand. 

“I can confirm state that they are not dating. Have you noticed he has not said anything or commented on the story?

“Joey should come clean about the ‘relationship’. 

"Using his fame for her own personal gain is wrong.

Makali met Dorris in 2011 after he divorced his first wife and married her  in a  traditional ceremony in 2012.

The renowned political analyst divorced with his first wife in 2009 after she accused him of assault and mistreatment and took him to court.

His shameless behaviours of assaulting and mistreating women continued when he married his second wife Dorris.

When his lavish home burnt down last year after an electrical fault, he laid blame on his wife and kicked her out with their kids.

She is now struggling in the village with her kids as Makali enjoys life in the city.

Life has become so hard, prompting her to relocate back to the village.

Wednesday, November 21, 2018- A Kenyan Rugby player based in the UK is facing deportation after his request for asylum on the grounds that he will be ‘persecuted’ and imprisoned in Kenya because he’s gay was rejected.

Kenneth Macharia, who plays for Bristol Bisons Rugby team was still detained at Colnbrook immigration centre near Heathrow airport pending deportation by the time of going to press.

Speaking with BBC radio from the detention center, Macharia said “there is a lot of mob justice that takes place in Kenya because the police are generally inefficient and the general public has a habit of taking the law into their own hands.”

 However, the Home Office has rejected his claims stating that they deem Kenya to be safe for gay people.

Macharia’s club and teammates have set up a petition and launched a social media campaign in a bid to force the Home office to reverse the decision.

A statement from the club read:“Ken’s story is yet another example of the Home Office ignoring the risks that LGBT people face in multiple countries around the world.

“We are providing support for Ken at this challenging time, hoping he will not be removed from the UK to continue his life here.

 “Deporting a good, hard-working, gay man to a country where homophobic violence and imprisonment is rife is immoral and unjust, and should be stopped.”

Macharia has been living in Bristol since 2009 where his mum stays and has a work Visa.

Wednesday November 21, 2018-Kenyans have reacted angrily after a video emerged of a Nairobi school bus full of pupils breaking traffic rules from all angles in broad day light as they celebrated their excellence in this year’s KCPE examinations.

This is despite the ongoing crackdown on matatus in a bid to enforce the Michuki rules to restore sanity on our roads.

From the video, it was evident the bus is owned by Kiriath-Jiam School located in Nairobi's Utawala area.

According to the video, pupils are seen literally riding from the exterior, hanging precariously and without fear of the gravity of danger staring at them.

Those who reacted to the disturbing  video called on investigative agencies to launch a probe and discipline these involved in abusing traffic laws, including the school and driver of the bus.

The incident happened yesterday in broad day light and the video was taken by a person in a private car who was following the bus from behind.

Wednesday November 21, 2018-Security agencies have launched manhunt for gunmen who attacked residents in the outskirts of Malindi Town on Tuesday night and abducted an aid worker from Italy and injured five other people in the scuffle, among them a 10-year-old boy.

According to sources, the gunmen, who are believed to be Al-Shabaab terrorists, abducted the 23-year-old aid worker from her hotel room in Chakama Trading centre, 80 km west of Malindi town, Kilifi County.

The attack was confirmed by the police who disclosed the injured had been ferried to Malindi Sub-County hospital and contingents of police officers deployed to track down the criminals.

"The National Police Service wishes to inform the public that last evening at about 8pm, a gang of men armed with AK 47 rifles attacked Chakama Trading centre in Chakama, Makongeni sub location in Kilifi County, about 80 kilometres west of Malindi town," read a statement by the police.

“We assure the public that we are sparing no effort in tracking down the criminals and rescue the victim,” the police added.

The kidnapped Italian woman is said to be a volunteer of Africa Milele Onlus, a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) operating in the area.

Wednesday, November 21, 2018- FamousAmerican TV host and comedian Ellen DeGeneres, surprised a Kenyan man living in the United States by giving him a cool 25,000 (Sh2.5 million)

Ellen, who was in Kenya with her wife early this year, had received a video message from the guy simply known as Lawrence, where he told her how much he admired her kindness.

“I love you coz you are very kind and I love how you give people chances,"Lawrence, who moved to the US after winning a green card stated in the video.

Ellen was touched by Larry's message and arranged for him to be in her audience during the recording of one of her shows.

Lawrence had been working up to 16 hours a day to help pay fees for his sister who is in a Kenyan University.

He revealed that he sacrificed going to college to help his sibling attain education.

This torched Ellen who gave him a cool $25000(Sh2.5 million) and a lap top to enable him pursue college dream.
