Arsenal renews interest in Kenyan midfielder VICTOR WANYAMA.

Monday, January 21, 2013 - North London club Arsenal FC have reportedly renewed their interest in Celtic’s highly rated Kenyan midfield maestro Victor Wanyama.

Wanyama has established himself as one of the finest talents in Scottish football and, according to the Daily Mail; the Gunners are keen to prise him away from the Hoops as they seek to bolster their squad in the transfer window.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has run the rule in a number of occasions after it emerged that he sent his brother Martin to watch the youngster play against Champions League clubs where he impressed, but Arsenal, it would appear, are ahead of their Premier League rivals in the race to sign the highly-rated Celtic star.

Wanyama has also reportedly been offered to other Premier League clubs  with Craven Cottage outfit Fulham also thought to be interested in his signature.

Arsenal have suffered in the midfield department with the sale of Cameroon midfielder Alex Song to Barcelona and with French international Abou Diaby being blighted with nagging injuries, the Kenyan midfield enforcer together with Les Blues midfielder Y’ann Mvilla have been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.
