Monday, January 21, 2013– After an expose by public screamer Robert Alai, Classic 105’s Daniel Ndambuki a.k.a. Mwalimu King’ang’i has finally paid up his pledge of Sh. 180,000 to boxer Conjestina Achieng’.
Mwalimu King’ang’i is said to have made a pledge of a huge amount of money but according to Alai, he failed to honor his pledge months down the line, an allegation he harshly refuted.
This followed after Kenyans of good will joined hands in changing the life of Conjestina after she was reported to have gone bonkers.
On twitter, Alai lamented on how dishonorable Churchill was since he had been ignoring calls from organizers of the campaigns and refused to pay the money. Churchill said that he had been in close contact with the family and would pay the money before the end of January.
Seems like he has finally honored his words and paid up the full amount. The money will go to paying her rent for one year.
