Tuesday, January 22nd, 2013 - Ezekiel Kemboi today presented the Gold Medal he recently won at the London Olympics to outgoing president Mwai Kibaki.
Last year, Kemboi was entangled in a fiasco where a woman accused him of stabbing her a few weeks to the 2012 London Olympics. The incident almost cost the 3000m steeplechase runner a place in the Kenyan Olympic Team but was fortunate enough to be allowed to compete, proudly giving Kenya its first Gold.
His signature “Kemboi dance” has given him a celebrity spot in the world of Olympics.
In response as to why he gave the President his medal he replied, 'I still have the Athens 2004 Gold,'
