Sunday, 27 January 2013-Premier League leaders Manchester United have been handed a major boost in their search of a goal keeper after reported Manchester City target Asmir Begovic admitted to fancy a move to Old Trafford.
The 25-year-old Stoke City keeper was linked with a move to the Citizens earlier this week.
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is said to be keen on providing first-choice keeper Joe Hart with competition between the sticks.
But as the The Mirror reports , Sir Alex Ferguson is keeping tabs on the Bosnian as a potential replacement for David De Gea and Anders Lindegaard whom have failed to live up to their huge potential.
Begovic, who has a contract with the Potters until 2016, will reportedly cost around £15million.
David De Gea who signed for the Red Devils in an £18m fee from Atletico Madrid has been linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
