Wednesday, January 30, 2013 - Kenyan artists seem to have broken the barriers of interracial marriages and wedded white women to be their companions in life. Although the marriages are at times seen as money making ventures love has broken the barriers.From the archives, we bring to the light several artists who have married white women and have blissful marriages.
Eric Wainaina and Sheba Hirst– Afro fusion singer popular for his tracks on bad leadership is happily married to Sheba who also acts as his partner in music; she is a producer at Mo fire production.
DJ Moz– Citizen TV’s Kubamba show host and also a member of K-Krew.
Bafu Chafu– Kenya’s iconic reggae ambassador who is popular for his track Mungiki which has ruled the airwaves over time.
Octopizzo– Controversial rapper Octopizzo recently shed light about his private life and also posted a photo of his girlfriend. He however has a daughter with his ex girl friend.
Shamir a.k.a. Singer X– Popular for his track on fire and has also released several reggae hit tracks. He is currently working on a remix of the track Chapa Fimbo la pili with Grandpa records.
Lavosti– He is not as famous as many other artists but the star was the voice behind Bamboo’s song Mama Africa. They are expecting their first child.
