Sunday, February 03, 2013 - Chelsea interim manager Rafa Benitez has insisted that he ‘will do well’ at Stamford Bridge despite Saturdays’ 3-2 loss to Newcastle United making it four games without a win.
Newcastle Debutant Moussa Sissoko grabbed a 90th minute winner for the hosts to secure three vital points making it just one win in seven for the Blues in all competitions
With pressure mounting o the Spaniard, he has remained adamant claiming that his side are doing a good job and he remains confident of finishing in the top three.
"We are doing a good job in terms of what you can see on the pitch. The team is doing well," said Benitez.
"The team has a very good team spirit and that is really positive, and I am confident that we will finish in the top three. I will do well.
"What I know, what I can see is the team doing well, working hard and when we have this advantage, we have to manage in a better way."
Chelsea now sit six points second place Manchester City and just four points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League , both of whom have a game in hand over the Blues.
