Wednesday 24^th July 2013 - Grief has engulfed a village in Uasin Gishu County following the discovery of body parts of a 23 year old woman dumped in a pit latrine in the region.

According to the residents, the body had no head, hands and legs and they suspected that the murder went down somewhere else and the body dumped there.

Speaking to the media, the locals said that they were shocked yesterday evening to find the missing parts dumped in a pit latrine in the area. They discovered the hands and the legs and informed the area administrator who led the excavation process.

While confirming the incident, the area police boss said that the husband to the woman confessed to have killed the wife after they had a domestic quarrel. He told the police that he even tried to hide the body parts of the woman.

The police boss said that he is in police custody and will be arraigned in court once investigations were completed.

Wednesday 24^th July 2013 - A man went berserk and attacked his mother and brother before turning to three other people who were passing nearby in Subukia, Nakuru County.

The two, mother and son who were seriously injured were rushed to the Rift Valley Provincial General Hospital with deep cuts on their bodies.

According to an eye witness, the suspect attacked Susan Waithera as she was splitting firewood and hacked her with an axe before hacking the son, Joseph Njuguna, who had rushed to rescue the mother.

While confirming the incident, Subukia OCPD, Alex Ng’ang’a, said that police suspect the man is mentally challenged. He added that he attacked three other people who responded to Waithera’s distress calls.

Police arrested him and he will undergo medical tests to prove his state of mind before taken to court.

K24’s Purity Mwambia recently took viewers to joints at Nairobi’s River road where the business happens in broad day light.

                                

Apparently most of the women who offer the services at a price below Sh. 300 for 20 minutes are married and report to duty at 9 a.m. only to leave at some time before night fall.

Wednesday 24^th July 2013 - The man whose p*n!s got swollen after scaring the mysterious bees in Mombasa has finally succumbed at his home in Kisauni.

The 18 year old boy who gathered courage and scared the bees away using water lemon died from the swelling.

The mysterious bees had attacked a home of a business lady and unlike the normal bees which get attracted to sugary substances, the bees milled around a cooking pot.

They seemed to enjoy the aroma of the spiced food as well as the salty meat that was cooking. Residents suspected that it was a case of botched witchcraft and pointed an accusing finger at the lady.

The boy who scared them had his private parts swollen a day after, forcing the family to intervene and seek spiritual help. Pastors camped at the home expelling demons but unfortunately he succumbed.

Was it witchcraft? The mystery remains.

Wednesday, July 24, 2013 - It seems Victor Wanyama’s high profile move to the Barclays Premier league has given Kenya exposure with local based players getting invitations for trials in Europe.

After Sofapaka midfielder, Humphrey Mieno, was linked with a possible move to Scotland Champions, Celtic, Gor Mahia talisman, Dan Sserunkuma has been invited for trials in Eastern Europe according to his British agent Ken Joseph.

The 2012 Kenya Premier League player of the Year who has also been capped by Uganda Cranes is being scouted by clubs in Belarus, Armenia and Ukraine.

"Dan has been invited for trials by clubs in the eastern European region, he has been a target since the January window. I have spoken to the chairman and gaffer of Gor Mahia and they are happy to give Dan an opportunity to prove himself in Europe.

“Dan is a true professional and I wish him the best of luck during his trials.” Joseph was quoted as saying.

Wednesday July 24, 2013 - In what may appear as a shock to the Kisii accident families, former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, today sent condolences to the families of the 15 accident victims who died in a school bus accident last week.

On his Twitter account today, Raila sent a message of condolences saying he deeply mourns with the families of 15 accident victims who died in the grisly accident.

Here is his tweet

Raila Odinga #The pain of losing a child is unimaginable. May God grant the families the Peace that surpasses all understanding.

This is a shock to many Kenyans since he spent the better part of Tuesday politicking instead of mourning with the families of the victims.

Already a number of MPs and Senators have condemned Raila’s actions at the funeral of politicking instead of mourning with the families of the bereaved.

Did you know that Omosh who is also Mother in Law’s late Betty Nyambura (Wanade) and Naomi Kamau (Alison)’s brother is a polygamist? Well, Omosh is married to Mrs. Ngatia also of Tahidi High who is his first wife.

He recently also married another woman named Shanty Mumbi and claims to love both the two women.

Wednesday, July 24, 2013– Have you ever wanted to make a difference in the community, especially touching a young child’s life……well an opportunity is here.

Sarakasi Trust Hospital in conjunction with Classic 105’s Nick Odhiambo plan on helping 9,000 children country wide.

The project is more like the popular Make A Wish Foundation but their main objective is putting a smile on children’s faces especially the ones who have been abandoned in hospitals like Kenyatta National Hospital, for example cancer patients, children born in prisons among others.

The project was earlier on funded by foreign donors who have now cut the funding but to sustain the project and continue touching lives in the society, the brains behind the project are planning an auction which will help them raise some funds.

Sarakasi Trust is planning an auction at The Tribe hotel on July 27^th and some of the things on the catalog include all expenses paid holidays, dinner vouchers, yoga for a couple of months at various gyms, signed t-shirts and autographed by various celebs and head honchos of various companies complete with pictures of them autographing for authenticity etc.

Wednesday 24^th July 2013 - Residents of Kiritiri village in Mbeere South of Embu County are living in fear after a badly mutilated body of a 35 year old man was discovered today morning dumped at a bus park.

According to Mbeere South OCPD, Bernstein Shari, who confirmed the incident, the body had deep cuts all over indicating that he might have been stabbed severally by a knife which was found next to where his body was.

Shari told the media that the police suspect he might have been murdered elsewhere and his body dumped at the scene. His body could not be identified because it had been badly mutilated. The mouth had been cut with the eyes gorged out.

Shari appealed to the public to volunteer any information regarding the identity of the man because the police had no documents to help identify him.

The body was taken to Embu Provincial General Hospital mortuary awaiting a postmortem examination.

Wednesday 24^th July 2013 - The 40 year old man who raped a hen to death was today arraigned before a Nyeri court to answer to bestiality charges.

Paul Nderitu was accused of engaging in an unnatural act with a hen on the 18^th of July this year at Kigwandi village, Nyeri County.

The court was told by the prosecutor that the accused defiled the hen to death and the report from the veterinary proved that the chicken was subjected to intense pressure and as a result died.

However, Nderitu who appeared before resident magistrate John Aringo denied the charge and instead said that the chicken behaved suggestively to him and this provoked him to commit the act.

He was released on a Sh 100,000 bond with a surety of a similar amount.

The case was scheduled to proceed on the 20^th of August.

Wednesday July 24, 2013 - As the Makueni Senatorial by-election campaign entered its homestretch today, Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) candidate, Mutula Kilonzo Jr. expressed his optimism that he will retain his late father, Mutula Kilonzo’s seat.

Speaking at one of his campaign rallies, Mutula assured Makueni residents that CORD will beat Uhuru/Ruto’s Jubilee in their own game.

He noted that the plot by Jubilee and IEBC to rig him out will work against them, saying not even rigging by the electoral body can stop the will of over 300, 000 voters of Makueni County.

Mutula further noted that the Makueni by-election was a one horse race, saying the Jubilee Coalition had nothing to frighten him with.

This comes even as CORD supporters chased away some unmarked vehicles in Makueni believed to be preparing to rig elections by switching ballot boxes during transportation.

Mutula’s confidence also comes even after the High Court allowed IEBC to manually paste his name on the ballot papers, something CORD lawyers termed as a plot to rig election.

Wednesday July 24, 2013 - A section of lawmakers from Kisii County have demanded an apology from CORD Presidential loser, Raila Odinga, for converting a funeral ceremony at Gusii Stadium into a political field on Tuesday.

Speaking at Parliament buildings on Wednesday, the lawmakers led by Kitutu Chache MP, Richard Onyonka, demanded an apology from Raila for politicizing a funeral ceremony and tainting the good name of the Kisii community.

They said the CORD leader should understand that Kisii community respects President Uhuru Kenyatta as their President urging Raila Odinga and his orphans to accept defeat and stop whinning.

Other leaders who spoke include Kitutu Chache North MP, Jimmy Angwenyi, who said the Kisii community, will not accept to be mislead by a seasoned loser.

Angwenyi also reiterated Onyonka’s remarks saying the Kisii community respects President Kenyatta and they will not be mislead by leaders who only want to cause bloodshed in the country.

Wednesday July 24, 2013 - Siaya Senator, James Orengo, has sensationally stated that the “Kisii revolution” which was witnessed on Tuesday was just a tip of the iceberg since more revolutions will be witnessed in the coming days.

Speaking to a journalist outside Milimani Court in Nairobi on Tuesday, Orengo who is also a close ally of former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, said yesterday’s events at Gusii Stadium during a requiem mass for 15 accident victims, was a clear picture of how Kenyans are tired of the Jubilee Government.

He said majority of Kenyans are already tired with the President Uhuru Kenyatta and  his Deputy, William Ruto’s administration and it is only a matter of time before Kenyans from all tribes rise against the Jubilee regime which he described as an “illegitimate” Government.

He said Uhuru and Ruto are sleeping on top of a time bomb that will explode anytime from now.
