The mother of five broke up with her baby daddy, Tanzanian singer, Diamond Platinumz on Valentine’s Day, last year citing infidelity.

Zari, 38, has always insisted that she wants a man who will be the perfect father figure to her children and it seems she has found him.

She shared photos of herself and the lucky guy goofing around and from the glow on her face, she’s a woman in love.

The lucky guy is a Ugandan actor and Entrepreneur known as William.

Thursday January 3, 2019-Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria, has said his life is in danger after he urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to allocate more resources to Mt Kenya region.

During his New Year’s Eve message at Thika Stadium, Kuria, who was drunk like a skunk, threw a jibe at President Uhuru Kenyatta accusing him of ignoring Mt Kenya region and developing areas that voted for opposition.

“The President should stop taking us for fools," Kuria said in a speech that has since gone viral.

Following his remarks, Kiambu County Governor, Ferdinand Waititu, fired Kuria’s brother John Ngigi Kuria, who was Kiambu County Chief Officer in charge of Agriculture and Marketing.

In an interview with one of the dailies on Thursday, Kuria said Waititu's move to sack his brother was politically instigated.

“My brother went through a very competitive and open recruitment process. I never interfered nor influenced. He has a MSc in Agricultural Economics from University of Nairobi and many years of experience. Clearly Waititu is acting out of political malice but he is not acting alone. I ask Kenyans to pray for my safety," Kuria said.

Thursday January 3,2019 - A section of religious leaders from the Kalenjin community have warned President Uhuru Kenyatta against being misled into remaining in power after completing his two terms in 2022.

The leaders led by father Ambrose Kimutai of Segemik parish, Bomet County, told Uhuru to ignore calls from some quarters to be given a powerful position in Government after 2022.

Kimutai said he should instead retire honorably as constitutionally required.

“We know of influential people in government and even outside keen on having President Uhuru to stay in power after 2022 through a change in constitution by creating a Prime Minister’s post or through a parliamentary system,” Kimutai said.

The cleric pointed out that Uhuru has already left a legacy in the years he has been in power and it will be foolhardy for him to spoil it by going for another position after his term in 2022.

Central Organisation of Trade Union (COTU) Secretary General, Francis Atwoli, is among individuals in the country who have publicly said Uhuru was still young hence he should be given another position as soon as he retires.

Thursday January 3,2019 - A section of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leaders from Western Kenya have vowed to support Deputy President William Ruto’s presidential bid in 2022, saying he is a visionary leader who will take the country to greater heights.

The leaders led by Busia County Governor, Sospeter Ojaamong, met Ruto at his Sugoi home, Uasin Gishu county, on Wednesday and endorsed his presidential candidature in 2022.

Ojaamong, who is serving a second term on an ODM ticket, has a long close relationship with Raila, his party boss.

“We are past party politics. We would want to see working relationships forged among leaders,"Ojaamong said.

Ojaamong’s sentiments were echoed by Teso North MP, Geoffrey Omuse, who termed Ruto as a focused leader and pledged to work with him to realise his 2022 ambition.

“We want to work with a leader who is going to change the face of Kenya. A leader who is after empowering Kenyans. That is why I urge all leaders to unite and work with the Deputy President,” Omuse said.

Other NASA leaders who endorsed Ruto’s bid include Bungoma Woman Representative Catherine Wambilianga and Kabuchai MP, James Lusweti.

Thursday January 3, 2019 - A close ally of Deputy President William Ruto has dismissed claims that he is corrupt like his party boss.

Addressing journalists on Wednesday, Nyaribari Chache MP, Richard Tong’i, brushed off claims that he is embezzling public funds by organizing unnecessary sporting activities in the constituency.

The lawmaker insisted that there is no single cent that was lost after funds from the CDF kitty was used to fund sports.

"Some residents who are claiming that I underfunded tournaments in the constituency are only being used by my desperate rivals. I want to reiterate that CDF funds were used appropriately to fund the sporting activities where constituents had fun," Tongi said.

He further said that he has never had a dream of engaging in dubious deals such as theft of public money.

"I am satisfied with my monthly salary and those claiming that I have stolen public money should file a case in court," he said.

Tongi is a very close friend of Deputy President who, in socio-political circles, is known as the “High Priest of corruption”

Thursday January 3, 2019 - Malindi MP, Aisha Jumwa, has revealed the character of Mombasa County Governor, Hassan Ali Joho, who also happens to be the ODM deputy party leader.

Speaking on Wednesday during a meeting to share her development achievements with residents, Aisha who is an ODM rebel, said Joho has remained silent over her tribulations in ODM.

ODM's disciplinary committee recommended the expulsion of Jumwa and Msambweni MP, Suleiman Dori, on December 2018 for supporting Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 bid.

Jumwa said she was summoned despite being a close ally of Mombasa Governor who holds a senior position of the party.

“ODM should stop joking. I was in ODM by choice; I was arrested because of [ODM leader] Raila [Odinga]. In Coast, the deputy party leader Ali Hassan Joho has been silent since the intimidation began,” Jumwa stated.

She said ODM is a partisan party since it is yet to summon Migori Governor, Okoth Obado, who is also working with Ruto.

“In five years, ODM should not ask me where I will go. I will have finished their contract," Jumwa noted.

Thursday January 3, 2019 - Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria, lashed out at President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday accusing him of only launching development projects in other areas except in Kiambu County.

Kuria, who appeared tipsy like a pig, told Thika residents that Uhuru only launches big projects in other areas, but when he visits Kiambu he only issues certificates to recovering alcoholics.

The vocal MP also said that Uhuru has been using the Central Kenya electorate as voting machines while other regions reap the benefits.

However, Kuria's statements seemed to have irked Kiambu County Governor, Ferdinand Waitutu, who on Wednesday fired his brother, John Ngigi Kuria, who was serving as the County Chief Officer in charge of Agriculture.

In what was disguised as an annual leave, Ngigi was ordered to hand over duties and any County property in his possession to the Chief Officer in charge of livestock, fisheries and veterinary services.

“It has been noted that you have not taken your annual leave for sometime due to the busy nature of your office. You are hereby therefore advised to proceed for your annual 30-day leave with effect from Thursday the 3rd January, 2019. You will be required to resume duty on Tuesday the 14th of February, 2019,” read part of the letter signed by Waititu.

Moses Kuria is yet to clear the air about the incident.

Thursday, January 03, 2019- Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has heaped praise on ten Chinese doctors for saving his daughter, Rosemary Odinga’s life.

Raila disclosed that he had spent several months in South Africa and Israel but Rosemary’s condition was not improving.

In an Interview with a local media house, Raila, who is the African Union Envoy, admitted that he almost lost hope before the Chinese doctors diagnosed the life threatening ailment and set Rosemary on a recovery path.

“The therapist discovered that something was not adding up. So he took a scan and discovered that an aneurysm, which had burst, was recurring and there was another one next to it and a tumor,” stated Raila.

“They took two days examining, and before they decided that they do a three-in-one operation… about ten professors… and it lasted about ten hours. By the time they wheeled her out of the theatre, she was conscious and she could talk,” narrated Raila.

After the successful surgery, Rosemary spent three hours in ICU then discharged to the general word.

Rosemary’s woes began in the run up to the 2017 general elections when she fainted and went to an eight-day comma forcing the family to airlift her to South Africa.

While she has resumed her public life after the scare on her life, she is currently partially blind.

Thursday, January 03, 2019- Conrad Njeru Karukenya popularly known as Tiger Power is dead.

The man who was once dubbed Kenya’s ‘strongest man’ due to his extra-ordinary strength died aged 72 at Consolata Mission Hospital in Embu while undergoing treatment.

“He has been battling different ailments since 2015, the reason he had to quit power lifting. He has had kidney failure, lung and heart complications. However, when we were taking him to the hospital on Monday, he was still a man of strength. He even called his children alerting them that he was going to hospital,” his brother Ansemoli Kathuri disclosed.

During his prime, Tiger Power mesmerized many with his incredible stunts such as pulling a car with his teeth, using his teeth to break iron nails, and letting a Land Rover roll over him unscathed.

"All is do is train hard, I wake up everyday at four in the morning, do lots of exercises and eat well. I don't drink, smoke and indulge in life's excesses,'' he once said in an interview.

Tiger Power was awarded a Head of State Commendation by former president Mwai Kibaki.

Last year, he graduated with a Bachelor in Education (Early Childhood Education) from Kenyatta University and had a dream of starting his own school.
