Tuesday, the 22ndof January 2012 - The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) earlier today released a statement to newsrooms announcing that the council will be releasing the results of last year’s Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations next week on Monday.
A statement signed by KNEC CEO Paul Wasanga said the results will be released at Mtihani House on Monday the 28thof January in collaboration with the Ministry of education.
As usual the candidates will be able to find out their results from their examination centers as well as from the KNEC website: www.knec.ac.ke and by sending a request with their index number to 5052 shortly after the release.
Candidates who will have their results cancelled due to cheating and other irregularities will also be informed through a letter to their school on the same day.
KCPE results are usually released after Christmas day at the tail end of the year but this year was different due to month-long teachers strike last year.
Good luck to all the candidates.
