Sunday 24th March 2013 - Police in Embu are investigating the death of a 40 year old man whose body was found lifeless in his house in Shauri Yako village in Embu town.
Joseph Rutere’s body is said to have been found by his relatives when they went to check on him the following morning. They informed the police who visited the scene.According to Makau, police recovered some medicine when they searched Rutere’s pockets. Police suspect that Rutere may have been sick or may have taken an overdose of drugs which in turn caused his death.
Makau added that the police have launched an investigation into the death of the man.
The body was taken to Embu General Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
