Saturday 30th March 2013 - There was a somber mood in a village inNakuru County after a middle aged man burnt himself to death following the rejection from a lady he claimed to love.It all started when the woman turned down the man’s request to go out. Sources reveal that the man claimed to be in love with the lady but the latter had no feelings towards him.
On this fateful day, the man decided to burn himself by pouring super petrol all over his body and setting himself ablaze. According to an eye witness he got hold of the lady so that they could die together. He claimed that if he could not have her then no man should.
Neighbours rushed to her aid and took her to a nearest hospital where she is recuperating. The man died from the fire as the super petrol exploded.
His body was taken to Nakuru Hospital Mortuary awaiting post mortem.
