Wednesday, January 2, 2019-Former Harambee Stars Captain, Dennis Oliech, has signed a mouth-watering deal with Gor Mahia, which will see him become the highest paid footballer in Kenya Premier League.

Oliech will be pocketing Ksh 350,000 per month in the one year deal he has signed with Gor and on top of that, a signing fee of Ksh 3.5 Million will land in his bank account.

However, not everyone is celebrating Oliech’s new career move.

His girlfriend, Paulah Mumia, is busy ranting on social media after he dumped her.

Paulah revealed all is not well through Insta stories, claiming that some men never learn.

“ Some men are very useless. You will take care of them when they are broke but when they get money, they look for whores. I hate you.” Reads one of her posts.

“Just because you have started earning???those same bitches will bring you down and you will run back to me. You are very ungrateful.” She continues ranting.

Oliech is a spendthrift and a notorious womanizer who splashes money on anything in a skirt.

It seems he has not learnt from his past mistakes.

Instead of sticking to the woman who supported him when he was broke, he is running to whores after signing a good deal with Gor Mahia.

Wednesday, January 2, 2019- A section of Kalenjin community elders have warned of dire consequences should Kikuyu community fail to support Deputy President William Ruto’s Presidential bid in 2022.

Speaking in Kapenguria town on Wednesday, the elders led by their chairman, Mr James Lukwo, said there was an agreement between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Ruto that the {President} will marshall his community to support Ruto’s bid in 2022.

Lukwo also said there was a debt to be paid by Central Kenya people and he ordered for an assurance from the President himself.

Lukwo also revealed that in 2013 the elders from Kikuyu and Kalenjin communities met in Nakuru and they agreed to support Uhuru for 10 years and Ruto for another ten years.

“As a community we feel there is a lot of hypocrisy in the agreement and we ask leaders from Central Kenya to come clear. We want to know if they have decided to dump us. We are concerned as elders because we don’t want a repeat of 2007 post election violence, “the chairman said.

During the 2007 post election skirmishes, Kalenjin warriors killed many Kikuyu settlers who were living in Rift Valley. The bloody skirmishes left over 1100 people dead and over half a million displaced across the country.

Wednesday January 2, 2019-A controversial Jubilee Party legislator has revealed that Deputy President William Ruto was paid billions of shillings by President Uhuru Kenyatta in order to support his presidential bid in 2013.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday , Nyeri Town MP , Ngunjiri Wambugu,also clarified that Mt Kenya region has no debt with anybody since Uhuru paid Ruto to support him in 2013.

“WHAT DEBT? ‘What debt? Money was paid; positions were given; influence was shared; commitments for protection were made. If we need to explain to others and further, let them continue behaving like they/we forgot’- overheard in some corridors,” Ngunjiri wrote.

Ngunjiri made the remarks after a section of Kalenjin community leaders said Mt Kenya region owes Ruto since he supported Uhuru for 10 years.

But the fiery lawmaker said Mt Kenya region has no debt with anybody and said they will support a candidate of their choice in 2022.

Ruto, who is a charismatic leader, has remained mum over the issue that has divided Jubilee Party into two.

Sources said the DP is still confident that he will succeed "The Son of Jomo" despite noises from the likes of Ngunjiris and Murathes.

Wednesday January 2, 2019-President Uhuru Kenyatta has reportedly appointed a man who will replace Chief of Defence Forces, General Samson Mwathethe, once he retires early this year.

In July 2018, the military board, which is chaired by President Uhuru Kenyatta approved promotion of Kenya Army Commander Lieutenant General Robert Kibochi to become the vice-chief of Kenya Defence Forces(KDF).

Kibochi, 59, was promoted in order to in prepare him to succeed General Samson Mwathethe, who is in his final days in office.

Sources close to the military said Uhuru has okayed the appointment of Kibochi as the next CDF since he is a decorated soldier.

Kibochi has Masters Degree of Arts in International Studies, Masters Degree in Computer Based Information Systems, Bachelors of Technology in Communication and Electronics Engineering, and is currently pursuing Ph.d degree in Peace and Conflict Management.

His other professional training includes National Security Studies at the National Defence College (Kenya). Army Command and Staff Course (UK), Overseas Telecoms Engineering Course (UK), Signal Officers Degree Telecommunications Engineering Course (India), Sub Unit Commanders Course, Platoon Commanders Course, Regimental Signal Officers Course among other training courses.

Wednesday, January 2, 2019-A high end vehicle belonging to controversial city pastor James Maina Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Ministries, was involved in a road accident on Wednesday morning and impounded at Karen Police Station.

The Kenyan DAILY POST has learnt that the vehicle was towed to Karen Police Station in the wee hours of Wednesday morning and no one knows where or how the accident happened, but the extensive damage on the car reveals there was a huge impact during the accident.

Well placed sources revealed that OCPD at Karen Police station received bribe from the rogue pastor who claimed the vehicle was being driven by his personal assistant during the time of the accident and ordered it to be released.

Karen OCPD and the Divisional Traffic Officer also ordered junior officers to write abstract for insurance payment and released the car under controversial circumstances.

This is not the first time the rogue pastor is causing an accident and walking free after bribing cops to interfere with investigations.

In 2015, he killed a woman while driving under the influence of alcohol in Limuru and bribed cops to damage evidence.

Pastor James Ng’ang’a of the Neno Evangelism was this morning involved in yet another accident. Sources claim that the OCPD at Karen Police station received a bribe and pushed to have the junior officers write abstract for insurance payment. Wednesday, January 02, 2019- The former Kiambu governor had castigated the controversial Gatundu South MP for attacking President Uhuru on New Year’s Eve.

Kuria, who was tipsy, accused the President of using Kikuyus as ‘voting robots’ while addressing revelers in Thika.

“Ii mambo kazi yetu ni kupiga kura na baada ya kupiga kura maendeleo tunapeana kwingine. Io ujinga tuache. Kufungua maji kwingine, kufungua barabara kwingine, kufungua stima kwingine,” (We cannot be voting politicians into power and they take development projects elsewhere. We should stop that nonsense. Water, roads and electricity projects are opened in other areas.) Kuria fumed.

Kabogo took to social media to lash out at Kuria for disrespecting the President.

“How can Moses Kuria say that Uhuru Kenyatta should wacha ujinga. Shame on him!”Kabogo posted on twitter but later deleted the post.

However, Kuria has now hit back at the flamboyant politician.

“Endelea kunitafuta tu. Sina shughuli na wewe” Kuria fired back at Kabago.

Wednesday, January 2, 2019-A flashy matatu registration number, KCG 748M, that plies Mlolongo Route was involved in a road accident along Mombasa Road on Wednesday afternoon and this is not just another any accident because it has caused alot of heat on social media.

To refresh your memory, this flashy Nganya that used to be very popular in Rongai, caused a grisly road accident along Lang’ata road last year and four passengers lost their lives while many others sustained injuries as seen in the photo below.

The flashy matatu was impounded and later released and the owner changed route from Rongai to Mlolongo- Kitengela Route.

The same matatu that claimed 4 lives last year has been involved in 2 separate accidents after it changed route, with the latest being today’s accident that happened along Mombasa Road. See photos below.

Kenyans demand to know why this killer matatu was allowed back to the road despite causing three separate grisly accidents with the Wednesday afternoon accident being the fourth one.

Wednesday January 2, 2019 - Renowned political analyst, Prof Herman Manyora, has revealed the identity of power brokers who sent former Gatanga MP, David Murathe, to speak ill of Deputy President William Ruto's Presidential bid in 2022.

On Wednesday last week, Murathe who was speaking during the Maragoli Cultural Festival in Mbale, Vihiga County, said Ruto is not the automatic presidential candidate for the Jubilee Party in 2022.

Murathe's remarks generated a political storm within Jubilee, with many leaders castigating him for making unsavory remarks against the DP.

Sharing his thoughts via social media on Tuesday, Prof Manyora said Ruto should be very worried about Murathe's remarks because it is just a slight revelation of what awaits him in 2022.

He said that they are most likely coming from more powerful individuals opposed to his bid and who are using Murathe as their mouthpiece.

"Ruto should know that this is not Murathe speaking, he is speaking on behalf of powerful forces, round and about and its all about 2022," Manyora said.

He observed that the DP will most likely succumb to what seems to be coming his way should he put up a fight, noting that he should instead play along and retaliate gradually.

"Ruto, whatever is happening behind the scenes which is now coming out is most likely to finish you, let them have their way and be a trojan horse," he said.

Wednesday, January 02, 2019- Former Kiambu governor, William Kabogo, has lashed out at controversial Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria, over his attack on President Uhuru.

During New Year’s Eve, the vocal legislator launched an onslaught against President Uhuru accusing him of neglecting Central Kenya residents.

From the video that has been circulated widely on social media, Kuria, who was high as a kite, accused the President of using Kikuyus as ‘voting robots’

Reacting to the video, Kabogo hit out at Kuria for disrespecting the president.
Taking to twitter, Kabogo wrote:

“How can Moses Kuria say that HE UK should wacha ujinga. Shame on him!”

Thursday, January 03, 2019- Conrad Njeru Karukenya popularly known as Tiger Power is dead.

The man who was once dubbed Kenya’s ‘strongest man’ due to his extra-ordinary strength died aged 72 at Consolata Mission Hospital in Embu while undergoing treatment.

“He has been battling different ailments since 2015, the reason he had to quit power lifting. He has had kidney failure, lung and heart complications. However, when we were taking him to the hospital on Monday, he was still a man of strength. He even called his children alerting them that he was going to hospital,” his brother Ansemoli Kathuri disclosed.

During his prime, Tiger Power mesmerized many with his incredible stunts such as pulling a car with his teeth, using his teeth to break iron nails, and letting a Land Rover roll over him unscathed.

"All is do is train hard, I wake up everyday at four in the morning, do lots of exercises and eat well. I don't drink, smoke and indulge in life's excesses,'' he once said in an interview.

Tiger Power was awarded a Head of State Commendation by former president Mwai Kibaki.

Last year, he graduated with a Bachelor in Education (Early Childhood Education) from Kenyatta University and had a dream of starting his own school.

Thursday January 3,2019-A section of Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) leaders from Western Kenya have vowed to support Deputy President William Ruto’s presidential bid in 2022, saying he is a visionary leader who will take the country to greater heights.

The leaders led by Busia County Governor ,Sospeter Ojaamong,met Ruto at his Sugoi home , Uasin Gishu county on Wednesday and endorsed his presidential candidature in 2022.

Ojaamong, who is serving a second term on an ODM ticket, has a long close relationship with Raila, his party boss.

“We are past party politics. We would want to see working relationships forged among leaders,"Ojaamong said.

Ojaamong’s sentiments were echoed by Teso North MP, Geoffrey Omuse, who termed Ruto as a focused leader and pledged to work with him to realise his 2022 ambition.

“We want to work with a leader who is going to change the face of Kenya. A leader who is after empowering Kenyans. That is why I urge all leaders to unite and work with the Deputy President,” Omuse said.

Other NASA leaders who endorsed Ruto’s bid include Bungoma Woman Representative Catherine Wambilianga and Kabuchai MP James Lusweti.

Thursday January 3, 2019-A close ally of Deputy President William Ruto has dismissed claims that he is corrupt like his party boss.

Addressing journalists on Wednesday, Nyaribari Chache MP, Richard Tong’i, brushed off claims that he is embezzling public funds by organizing unnecessary sporting activities in the constituency.

The lawmaker insisted that there is no single cent that was lost after funds from the CDF kitty was used to fund sports.

"Some residents who are claiming that I underfunded tournaments in the constituency are only being used by my desperate rivals. I want to reiterate that CDF funds were used appropriately to fund the sporting activities where constituents had fun,"Tongi said.

He further stated that he has never had a dream of engaging in dubious deals such as theft of public money.

"I am satisfied with my monthly salary and those claiming that I have stolen public money should file a case in court," he said.

Tongi is a very close friend of Deputy President who in social circles is known as “High Priest of corruption”
