Friday January 11, 2019-Former Njoro MP, Joseph Kiuna, has waded into the murky debate about Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 Presidential ambitions, warning Kalenjins not to dare Kikuyus.
In a statement yesterday, Kiuna Kalenjins that they will deal with them ruthlessly if they continue pushing them to support Ruto’s 2022 bid.
He said the Kikuyu community was not ready to forgive again like it did after the 2007/2008 post election violence witnessed across Kenya following former president Mwai Kibaki's win.
He told off the Kalenjin community, saying the community will not bow to threats of violence.
"I want to warn you that everything has an end and we have been pushed to the wall for reasons I don’t Know.”
“But they should know if this is the kind of game they want us to play, we know how to play it better than them," he said.
"In 2007/2008 we forgave you but we have not forgotten.”
“You can't slaughter our people, destroy our properties then come here to threaten us to vote for you in 2022.”
“You will pay the life of our people before telling us of political debts," he added.
