Saturday January 26, 2013 - Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has welcomed Friday’s opinion poll by Ipsos Synovate, saying they were a true reflection of the wishes of voters.
Addressing a mammoth rally in Kisii town on Friday, the VP said polls are always credible because Kenyans are the ones who give their opinions.
“The Synovate poll opinion which put the CORD leaders ahead of their rivals are scientific, so those who dispute them don’t want to face the reality,”Kalonzo said
Kalonzo said the opinion poll showed how the Kenya trusted CORD leadership, expressing optimism that by March 5th, Prime Minister Raila Odinga will be the new tenant of State House Nairobi.
In the Synovate poll released on Friday, Prime Minister Raila Odinga took a lead with 46 percent, followed closely by Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta with 40 percent. Musalia Mudavadi garnered 5 percent while Martha Karua and Peter Kenneth garnered 1 percent each.
