MPs who are demanding for a pay hike and free houses in Nairobi should resign immediately – They are as greedy as pigs and are useless

Monday December 3, 2018 - Kenya National Congress (KNC) party leader, Manson Nyamweya, has asked MPs who are demanding for enhanced perks to resign and let other Kenyans take their seats.

Speaking on Monday, Nyamweya who is the former South Mugirango constituency MP, said MPs should resign because poor Kenyans cannot afford to pay them the huge salary they are demanding.

“I am asking MPs who are not contented with their current salaries to consider resigning because poor Kenyans won't afford to pay them the huge allowances they are demanding," Nyamweya said.

He said Kenyans should not repeat the same mistake of electing the selfish MPs come 2022.

"The electorates should kick out the MPs in 2022 because most of them have prioritized their stomachs. We have other serious jobless people to be elected to continue serving Kenyans diligently," he said.

Nyamweya concluded by asking NASA leader, Raila Odinga, and President Uhuru Kenyatta to stand firm and ensure the greedy MPs' plans to hike their salaries hits the wall.

Here is what MOI has said about the matatu ban in CBD that UHURU has supported – MIKE SONKO is smoking weed and is alone on this

Monday December 3, 2018 - A section of leaders across the country have shared their sentiments about the ban of matatus from the Nairobi Central Business District starting this Monday morning.

Many leaders led by Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria, termed Nairobi County Governor, Mike Sonko, as incompetent for implementing the ban without having proper consultations with stakeholders.

Similar sentiments have been expressed by KANU chairman, Gideon Moi, who asked the Nairobi County Government to act quickly to alleviate the suffering of commuters.

He maintained that poor execution of the directive was counterproductive.

“Today we have witnessed commuters suffering after they were forced to trek for long distances to their places of work, small-scale traders incurring more costs ferrying their wares to the market, disruption of businesses and the old being stranded at drop off points with no alternative transport or anyone to assist them,” Moi said in a statement on Monday evening.

He asked the County Government to introduce efficient and affordable shuttles to pick passengers from the designated bus termini and drop them in the CBD.

“While we all look forward to a decongested city that reduces hours spent on the traffic jam, the Nairobi City County Government in collaboration with the National Government need to put in place proper plans for efficient and reliable transport system from matatu drop off points to the CBD,” Moi said.

Prepare to walk to work for many days as High Court support MIKE SONKO's decision to ban Matatus from CBD – The ban is unstoppable!

Monday December 3, 2018 - The High Court has declined to suspend an order barring matatus from accessing Nairobi’s CBD.

On Monday morning, Nairobi Senator, Johnson Sakaja, and Matatu Owners Association (MOA) went to court requesting the Judge to suspend the ban claiming it is inconveniencing many commuters.

But in her ruling, Justice Pauline Nyamweya directed the parties to file and serve their petitions to the respondents.

Twenty-one Saccos had gone to court seeking to quash a decision by the Nairobi County Government barring their vehicles for entering the CBD.

They argued that the decision was made without taking into consideration that the operators have valid transport licences that allow them to operate in the Central Business District.

The County has issued picking and dropping permits to the matatu operators.

Meanwhile, Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko, has told off Sakaja and MOA saying his ban is unstoppable and has the support of President Kenyatta.

The case will be heard on Thursday.

Monday December 12, 2018 - A vocal Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Governor has been accused of using County funds to fly a prostitute from Nairobi to Belgium to satisfy his manly needs.

According to an impeccable source, Kilifi Governor, Amason Kingi, flew a prostitute from Nairobi to Brussels on November 14th where he booked a five star hotel with the lady only identified as Haentel Wanjiru.

It was during this “coital trip” that the Governor was stranded in Rome for over a week after losing his passport to a thief at the airport.

The Governor lost his luggage at the airport when he arrived from Brussels where he had banged Wanjiru for days.

The source said Wanjiru lives a lavish lifestyle at the expense of the ODM Governor who is a close ally of Mombasa Governor, Ali Hassan Joho.

The randy Governor is married to Liz Kingi and they have two children together.

ODM NEC MEETING HELD AT THE PARK PLACE HOTEL IN NAIROBI TODAY 4/12/2018

The ODM Party National Executive Council (NEC) today held a meeting at the Park Place Hotel along Magadi Road. The meeting was attended by among others the Party Leader H.E. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga.

During the meeting, a number of issues concerning the party and the nation were discussed. Various committees of the party which had been tasked by the NEC to deal with a number of issues touching on the party, membership and other matters of national interest presented their reports for approval.

The party’s Disciplinary Committee tabled its report on the findings of acts of indiscipline by two members of parliament and several MCAs from County Assemblies of Busia, Nakuru, Nyamira and Homabay. The team made a raft of recommendations for the approval by the NEC.

After the meeting, the following resolutions were made;

1) Party discipline is paramount. Respect for party leadership, its organs and decisions made are components that make a stronger political party. The Political Parties Act is clear on the running and management of political parties which include discipline among party members. Political Parties are accountable to the office of the Registrar of Political Parties which is the custodian of all political parties. Likewise, party members must at all times adhere to rules, regulations and policies of their respective parties. ODM is not a party that tolerates disorder and unruly behaviour by her members.

The Disciplinary Committee in its report recommended the expulsion from the party of Hon. Aisha Jumwa (MP, Malindi) and Hon. Suleiman Dori (MP, Msambweni) for gross misconduct. Also recommended for expulsion are Hon. Dan Ochieng’ Were, Hon. Evans Dada Marieba, Hon. Julius Odhiambo Gaya, Hon. Geoffrey Onyango Juma, Hon. Paul Ongoro Wamunga and Hon. Joshua Okumu Nyabola (all members of the Homabay County Assembly) following the recent acts of violence, unruly behaviour and disobeying party decisions.

The committee also recommended the expulsion from the party of Hon. Immaculate Joice Adhiambo of the Busia County Assembly. Having looked at the report by the Disciplinary Committee, the National Executive Council of the party adopted the report. The NEC shall invite the members recommended for expulsion to appear before it at a special NEC meeting to be held early next year prior to the final decision being taken.

2) The Party’s Technical committee on the Building Bridges initiative also presented its draft proposals to the NEC for consideration. This is an ongoing discussion given the far-reaching proposals and the need for the widest possible consultations within the Party. Upon conclusion of these consultations, the final recommendations to the BBI Taskforce shall be made public.

3) The party is concerned about the suffering of farmers due to the ongoing maize crisis and demands thorough investigations into the matter and prosecution of those involved in creating the crisis. Nobody should take maize farmers for granted.

4) On the recent reports of a push by Members of Parliament to have their salaries and remunerations increased, the ODM wishes to reiterate that all state organs must respect the constitution and leave the matter of setting salaries to the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.

Tuesday December 4, 2018- It is a sigh of relief for Nairobians after a day of trekking to and from the Central Business District after Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko suspended the punitive matatu ban from the CBD.

This is even as he swore before Parliament yesterday that the ban will not be suspended in order to decongest the city.

Speaking on Tuesday, Sonko said he has suspended the ban following cries and suffering from commuters and matatu operators.

He noted that the move was aimed at facilitating further consultations with all affected parties in order to find a lasting solution to the problem.

"However, I have noted with deep concern the plight of Nairobi residents as a result of the ban, and hereby announce that the full implementation of this directive has been suspended with immediate effect," said the Governor.

"Although the directive is well intentioned, many innocent commuters, including senior citizens and those with health challenges requiring emergency medical attention...all suffered untold inconvenience, and this is regrettable," he added.

Tuesday December 4, 2018 -West Pokot Governor, John Lonyangapuo, has threatened to eject all Administration Police officers from the County if his security detail is not reinstated as directed by the court.

Speaking yesterday, Lonyangapuo said he was disappointed by the way the Government of President Uhuru Kenyatta withdrew his security after he stormed a police road block and freed a boda boda operator who had been arrested for flouting traffic rules.

He ordered Interior CS, Fred Matiangi, and Inspector General of Police, Joseph Boinnet, to reinstate his bodyguards before the worse comes to worst.

He also expressed concern over law enforcers who had overstayed in West Pokot, saying he will start by ejecting them.

"You cannot live here since 1990 and you still serving as police in the County when security is deteriorating.”

“I want them to restore my security and if they cannot do that then my voters will be my security, but if it reaches that level then any police who shall be found in this County it will be a crime," said Lonyangapuo.

"I expected them to clap and congratulate me for telling them to come and train their people.”

“The security boss should have sent his spies to come and confirm whatever I was saying is true instead of threatening and undermining me," he added.

Tuesday December 4, 2018- Baringo Senator Gideon Moi’s early morning walk in Mulwanda Village, Khwisero sub-county, on Sunday caught many by surprise and most villagers could not believe their eyes.

The KANU chairman’s 7km walk in the sleepy village to Sabatia bus stage aroused residents who rushed to catch a glimpse of him and mingle with the politician.

He had spent the night in the village after addressing a crowd at Kakamega bus stage.

Gideon was in Kakamega for a funds drive attended by Amani National Congress (ANC) leader, Musalia Mudavadi, Siaya Senator James Orengo and Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala.

The Baringo Senator mingled freely with residents as they chanted Nyayo-era songs and waved the one-finger KANU salute.

Gideon even ate supper in the house of a poor couple who expressed their gratitude to the Senator for visiting their home and having a meal with them despite his immense wealth and power.

They promised to vote for him for President in 2022.

“I have only been seeing him on TV and newspapers but yesterday (Sunday) he greeted me.”

“He is a very down-to-earth man.”

“Come 2022, if he will be on the ballot, I will vote for him,” said Oyondi.

As he continued to mingle with locals, Gideon Moi came across a blind man and he offered to pay for all his treatment until he can see again.

“We need you to return the favour and vote for me in 2022,” Mudavadi said.

At the same time, the ANC leader supported calls for a referendum which is vehemently being opposed by Ruto.

Former IEBC commissioners throw WAFULA CHEBUKATI under the bus - He is the problem that ails the commission, not CHILOBA

Tuesday December 4, 2018- Former IEBC Commissioners, Paul Kurgat and Margaret Mwachanya, have sought to throw the commission’s Chairman, Wafula Chebukati, under the bus over the problems that bedevil the commission.

Speaking when they appeared before the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament, the two accused Chebukati of micro-managing the agency in the run up to the 2017 polls.

They also accused him of dragging them into the direct procurement of the Kenya Integrated Electoral Management System (KIEMS) kit from Safran Morpho against the law.

Kurgat accused Chebukati of literally forcing him out of IEBC, noting that his exit was necessitated by what appeared as Chebukati’s personal vendetta with the commission's CEO, Ezra Chiloba, and which he wanted to impose on other Commissioners.

“He (Chebukati) ordered an internal audit specifically on the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) department when we had nine departments at the Commission and I remember asking him why only ICT?” Kurgat said.

“When the issue came up at the plenary, I dissented giving the Safran Morpho the tender to procure KIEMS because there was no market survey that had been done,” he said.

On her part, Mwachanya admitted that she was forced by Chebukati to endorse the scandalous direct procurement of KIEMS that were used in the 2017 elections.
